Trick Riding Calgary AlbertaThe Red Rodeo Cowboy Girls is a talented all-girl troupe of incredible young riders, the youngest member currently 8 years of age. Their performances are a vision of equine artistry, masterfully coordinated trick riding and tribute to the western arts. They perform the art of trick riding including double tricks and trick roping. Last year was a spectacular year for the Red Rodeo Cowboy Girls – The troupe placed 1st in the Calgary Stampede Parade under Color Mounted Party, they performed at The Manitoba Summer Exhibition, The Ponoka Stampede, Big Valley Jamboree, Okotoks Pro Rodeo, Hanna Pro Rodeo and ended the season with The Last Chance Saskatoon Pro Rodeo. The Red Rodeo Cowboy Girls have been showcased on the CBC produced/televised Calgary Stampede Parade along with interviews from A-Channel that was televised "live" on The Big Breakfast Show and in Toronto (City TV) during the CNE performances as well. Their performances are a blend of specialized tricks and trick roping all choreographed in colorful dazzling costumes on the back of the horse. They streak into the arena on their horses, vaulting on and off at a full gallop, hanging just above the horse's flying hooves - they ride, they rope and they show. What makes this performance stand out from all others is though they are a troupe; the focus is on each individual rider and their aspirations. Once each Red Rodeo Cowboy Girl has been seamlessly introduced by way of their own personal voice over - the music changes and they immediately being a dazzling display of trick riding. As one rider comes in the other has already gone - they peel off trick after trick after trick - Non Stop Action - No Breaks in the Performance, No Announcing just a spectacular display of specialized tricks all artistically choreographed in dazzling costumes on the back of a horse. The Red Rodeo Cowboy Girls have been under the instruction of Sally Bishop and Niki Cammaert. Pete Montana had this to say, "The Red Rodeo Cowboy Girls are the most refreshing trick riding act I've seen in years. Their commitment, training and joy for the act is obvious and contagious. You'll enjoy every minute their in the arena." |
